Introducing Simon Morris, a 25-year-old from Liberia, is deeply passionate about climate change, with a particular focus on ocean and plastic pollution. Growing up in a coastal environment, he has witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of mass pollution, unhealthy lifestyles, flooding, and the displacement of numerous individuals in his community and other coastal areas. These issues have been exacerbated by rising sea levels, a direct consequence of pollution and harm to marine ecosystems.
Currently, Simon dedicates his time to volunteering for initiatives aimed at creating a clean and safe ocean, engaging in both online and offline efforts. Since he began his fight against plastic pollution, he has positively impacted the lives of thousands, primarily within coastal communities. As an ocean defender and environmentalist, he organizes weekly beach clean-ups and actively raises awareness about plastic and ocean pollution. Through social media and various community outreach efforts, Simon informs the public daily, striving to educate and inspire others to join the fight for a healthier ocean.
