Lindsey McCoy has a master’s degree in nonprofit management and spent 10 years working on environmental education in the Bahamas, islands full of single-use plastic.

She and her sister co-founded a company, Plaine Products, that offers shampoo, conditioner and body wash and lotion in aluminum bottles that can be returned, refilled and reused.

She is currently on the Board of the Friends School of Wilmington and has been a crew member for eXXpedition – an all women crew non-profit that recruits women to travel the world studying microplastics around the globe.
